Hello, I'm Alethia "Dawn" Ayscue, and I've proudly lived in North Carolina my entire life. With 20 years of experience as a Registered Nurse, I have worked in diverse nursing fields such as hospice, mental health, long-term care, and corrections, as well as in various management and consulting roles. I feel fortunate to have a supportive and loving family, who have been a significant source of inspiration for this business. Their influence has shaped me into the nurse I am today.
Mema & Pop:
My maternal grandparents helped shape this dream by teaching our family to care for others and encouraging me to pursue nursing. Pop always had a business mind. He started and ran multiple businesses throughout his life.
Grandma Ayscue:
My paternal grandmother helped me learn to advocate for patients care through helping care for her in her later years.
Beth:
Beth was my very best friend. She sparked my sense for adventure and could always light up a room. Her constant encouragement helped me pursue my true dreams.
I am passionate about helping my patients realize their travel dreams, no matter where that destination may be. Over the years, I've learned that many of my patients regret not taking the time to travel and share quality moments with family and friends. As healthcare concerns, including terminal illnesses, become more prominent, many feel that achieving this dream is out of reach. Initially, my dream was to assist hospice patients in taking their final dream trip with loved ones, but it has now expanded to support anyone with health restrictions in enjoying travel experiences with their families.
